Devising at The Lowry

So, the summer season for "Puss in Boots" has come to an end and we will soon be writing some new material for it's Christmas run at the Green Room in Manchester. Last week we attended a Devising session at The Lowry, where the DNA team were working on the new show for 2007 "Ball Pond Bobby". We have a busy period ahead of us. Back in May we completed the soundtrack to short film "Beneath", Directed by Kerry Drumm. It was selected for the onedotzero_10 world tour starting off at the V&A. It is now finishing its week in Seoul, South Korea and has started in Monterrey, Mexico. We've worked with Kerry on several projects, the first being her stop frame animation "Hide and Seek" (pictured above). She has very recently had to move to Bristol because she has landed a job at Aardman, the lucky/talented sod!

Between The Lines

Earlier this week we received the edit for the next project we are working on, which is the WWII mini feature "Between the Lines". Directed by Ashley Wing, the story revolves around four British soldiers from the Duke of Cornwall Light Infantry, who disoriented and short of supplies due to a german ambush have to find their way back to their company. We have begun spotting the film and will shortly be putting some work into creating initial themes and pacing.
